Council for Immigrants
The Council for Immigrants and the Irish Episcopal Council for Emigrants co-host a conference in February 2014 to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Erga Migrantes Caritas Christi. This conference will highlight the need for increased awareness of a migrants’ journey, both those leaving our shores in the hope of making a new life for themselves abroad and those joining us to begin their new lives in Ireland.
In advance of the conference the Council for Immigrants and the IECE will be sending out a monthly newsletter, inviting parishes to join us on our journey of faith as we embrace and empower migrants in Ireland and abroad. Please click here for the October edition of this newsletter.
