The Pontifical Irish College in Rome has announced details of two Year of Faith initiatives for September.
The first is a course for parishioners “Discovering our Baptism – the discipleship of the Laity.” It takes place between September 9th and 14th. It will be led by Mgr. Ciaran O’ Carroll, who will focus on Christian History with visits to significant places of interest in the early Christian story; Fr. George Hayes will reflect on Culture and Art and Fr. Hugh Clifford will offer insights into the call of the baptised person and the formation of priests.
The second course relates to the annual Time for Priests, which takes place this year between September 16th and 21st– a time of reflection, renewal and relaxation led by Archbishop Éamon Martin, Bishop Brendan Leahy, Fr. Tim Lehane SVD and Fr. Paul Murray OP.
