Parish Cell System of Evangelisation
Leaders' Training Programme
In their response to the Year of Faith and the call to New Evangelization, many parishes are seeking new and imaginative approaches. The parish cell system of evangelisation has proven successful in many parishes throughout Ireland, the US, France and Italy. A training programme on its central elements and attitudes is planned.
The Leaders’ Training Programme on Parish Cell Evangelization will be hosted in the Orlagh Retreat Centre, Old Court Rd., Dublin 16 on Friday/Saturday 14/15th June. The programme commences at 7pm on Friday and concludes at 5 pm on Saturday.
Overnight rate to include B & B and lunch is €55 per person. Daily rate to include lunch is €35.
Presentations will include an input by Fr. Kieran McDermott, of the Office of Evangelisation and Ecumenism who will speak on ‘The Place of Small Faith Groups in Evangelization’.
This training affords a wonderful opportunity to priests or laity who may wish to explore the basic principles in setting up this new model of Parish Renewal.
